Who We Serve

This is a peer-to-peer program, regardless of discharge. We provide support services and peer counseling to all veterans of all eras without restrictions.

This veteran services project is administered through the New York State (NYS) Office of Mental Health, locally through the Mental Health Association in Putnam County and the Putnam County Veterans Service Agency. This program has no restriction on discharge status or service dates.

Programs

Veterans Outreach Studio

Join us at the Veterans Outreach Studio, learning, writing, poetry, and story-telling held on the first Wednesday of every month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Open Mic Night for Veterans

Join us at our new office for changing events contacts and seminars with guests from the VA and local organizations

Movie Night

Join us on the 4th Wednesday of every month from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. online for our free movie.

Pop Smoke Veteran Call-In

Connect with other veterans. Join us every Friday from 6:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.

Women’s Outreach Group

Join us at the Women’s Outreach Group, every third Thursday.

Veterans Appreciation Chowdown in November, The Veterans Showcase of artwork, readings and music in November. Baseball at the Renegades in Dutchess Stadium, Shakespeare at Boscobel, Kayaking lake Mahopac, Family Movie Day at a local cinema.
